some quotes, and a short bit on attitudes

When troubles come, they come not singly but in legions.
--Shakespeare

Genius is hard work.
--Gertrude Stein

"child of scorn...[who] wept that he was ever born...and thought, and thought, and thought..." And did nothing. And from nothing comes nothing.
--R. O. Blechman, Dear James, poem extract Miniver Cheevy, Edwin Arlington Robinson

To put it simply we - whether it's true or not - have been labelled as a slacker class. This cannot continue.

We don't want our teachers to start giving up on us. Although I fear some already have.

PS: Contrary to popular belief I am not a mugger. I would like to be able to mug more though, but can't manage my time well enough.
